CATIA V5 – BOM

The macro purpose is to create bill of material directly in the drawing, edit it and modify the displayed parameters. Also for calculation weight and fill the title block. Synchronize created balloons  according to the 3D model and also sort the model tree according to the defined mask.
It is also supplemented with export of the total BOM to an external file (eg MS Excel).

CATIA V5 – Multi export

The macro can export CATIE files and sort by mask the model (assembly), folder, or file of multiple folders. The resulting format of each file type can also be selected. Export can also be done in the so-called. “Banch mode” when it is not necessary to have CATIA running. This means that the PC is not burdened with graphical calculations and all operations are speeded up. Also, it is not necessary to have a computer as powerful as modeling. There is also the possibility of SMS or email notifications about the export status. This is especially useful for very large numbers of files. Therefore, the user does not have to be always at the PC, he gradually gets information about the status of multi export.

CATIA V5 – Rough material (stock / transport box)

A macro that identifies the stock / transport space for selected parties from your product. There is lot of options, you just need to choose which you will need.

SOLID EDGE – Hide/Show history

When you run the macro and then click on the model, it will be put into “hide” mode and will be written into the history sheet of hidden parts. Selecting an item from the hidden part history will display that part again. The macro speeds up work, especially with large assemblies, where it would be tedious to find a hidden part in the model tree.

SOLID EDGE – file info

When you run this macro, you have several keyboard shortcuts to get information about the selected file. Just click on the part directly in the model and press the letter according to the legend (eg u), and the folder containing the part will open and mark the selected part. With the marked par and pressing “a”, the file path is copied to the clipboard, which you can then conveniently paste into another system.
Of course, the macro can be extended to obtain various other information about the parade, or to automate the writing of the detected information to another system.
